Stephen LeViness was born on 12 May 1789 in Greenburgh, Westchester Co., NY.  He died in 1865.  He was buried in White Plains Rural Cemetery, White Plains, NY.

Stephen was one of the first trustees of the Methodist Church in Hartsdale New York.
Stephen witnessed the following wills;
      1.Duncan Cambell of Pelham New York
      2.Samuel Sneder of Eastchester, New York

He was married to Nancy Tompkins (daughter of Isaac Tompkins and Abigail Vail) on 8 Jan 1809.  Nancy Tompkins was born on 8 Apr 1790.  She died on 23 Feb 1828.  She was buried in White Plains Rural Cemetery, White Plains, NY.  Stephen LeViness and Nancy Tompkins had the following children:

He was married to Jane Unknown.  Stephen LeViness and Jane Unknown had the following children:

child i. Stephen D. LeViness was born on 2 Sep 1829.  He died in 1835.
